Terms and conditions

Article 1
Except for imperative legal provisions to the contrary, the present general conditions apply to all activities of DC Pole Studio. The present general conditions, as well as any particular conditions of DC Pole Studio, are accepted by its participants, even if they would be in contradiction with their own general or particular conditions. Any deviation from these conditions must be noted in writing and notified by a person authorized to commit DC Studio.

Article 2
DC Studio's offers are made without obligation. The orders are definitive only after having been paid. DC Studio is released from any responsibility in the event of non-performance due to a case of force majeure, a strike, a lock-out, etc.

Article 3
The classes and workshops take place at different locations, including :
Leuven A - Studio Zuid - Frederik Lintsstraat 45, 3000 Leuven
Wilsele - Dance Action - Kolonel Begaultlaan 15, 3012 Wilsele
Heverlee - Danserie - Hertogstraat 88, 3001 Heverlee

DC Studio reserves the right to change the location if necessary.
The dates of the classes and worshops are given as an indication. DC Studio reserves the right to change the prices.

Article 4
DC Studio has a personal injury liability insurance with Ehias Assurance. Each participant must pay an annual fee to be covered by the insurance. Participants are aware that bruises, contusions, abrasions, etc. may occur as a result of dancing, exercising, pole dancing and stretching. Known mental or physical problems that limit exercise should be communicated to the teacher in advance.

If you are injured during class, you must inform the teacher directly and go to your doctor. Within 24 hours, you must complete the insurance forms and send them to dcpole@hotmail.com. You will only get your credits back (and use them on the next session) if you send back a medical certificate within 24 hours.

Article 5
The non-payment of an invoice on the due date, makes all the sums due immediately payable, whatever the payment facilities previously granted. In the absence of payment on the due date , DC Studio reserves the right to cancel the course.

Article 6
In the case of non-payment of an invoice on its due date and without prior formal notice, the debtor acknowledges that he is liable for payment of an indemnity fixed at 15% of the amount of the invoice due with a minimum of 150.00 € and interest at the rate fixed by the law of 02.08.2002 relating to the fight against late payments.

For any cancellation of a class, workshop or a pass, there will be an admnistrative fee:
1 class - 7€
1 workshop - 10€
1 pass - 25€

Article 7
During the classes or workshops, the participant accepts by purchasing services that his image be used for promotional purposes. The person who does not want his/her image to be used must inform the teacher in writing as soon as possible that he/she does not wish to be filmed or photographed. It is forbidden to publish videos of teachers without their prior written consent.

Article 8
Participants may cancel a class 12 hours before the beginning of the class. In this case, the credit will be returned to the participant's account for future use. Any later cancellation will not be refunded.

All memberships purchased for regular pole dance classes must be used within three months of purchase and before the end of each session. It is not possible to use credits from one session to the next or during pole camps or special workshops (flexibility, exotic, chair dance, etc).

If DC Studio is forced to cancel a class or workshop, it will offer participants an alternative.

No refunds will be given except in the case of pregnancy with a medical certificate or moving abroad with proof of a new address.

Article 9
The participants have a 24-hour cancellation window for workshops. Participants can cancel 24 hours before the start of the workshop. In this case, the credit will be returned to the participant's account for future use. Any subsequent cancellations will not be refunded. Credits must be used by the end of the current session at the time of purchase. For some workshops, it will not be possible to cancel.

Article 10
Private lessons/bachelor parties. No refunds or extensions. If you are late in booking your private party, your time will not be extended.

Article 11
The participant will arrive at class on time to participate in the warm-up to reduce the risk of injury. The teacher reserves the right to refuse the student to join the class if he/she is not properly warmed up.

Article 12
Being able to cancel and get the credits back, if the student cancels in time, is a special privilege that DC Studio grants to its participants. It is absolutely not a requirement.
If you are unable to attend for any reason, there are only two options to get your credit back:
Either cancel on time on Fitogram and get your credit back to take another class if and only if there is availability until the end of the current session. If there is no availability, you lose your credit.
Or you submit a medical certificate within 24 hours.

Article 13
In the case of a dispute, other than the collection of unpaid invoices, the parties agree to have recourse to mediation beforehand by designating an approved mediator and to participate in two sessions of at least two hours in order to try to find an amicable solution.

Article 14
All the conflicts will be of the exclusive competence of the jurisdictions of the judicial district of Leuven, even in the event of call to guarantee or of plurality of defendants. DC Studio reserves however the right to quote before the Judge of the seat of the or of one of the defendants. No mode of payment or execution will bring novation or derogation to the present express clause of exclusive attribution of competence. Only Belgian law shall apply.
