WHY THIS PROGRAM?

Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, the most common injury among pole dancers is the shoulders injury, occurring starting already in the first year of practice. Pole dance is a very demanding sport for the body in general, the joints and more specifically the shoulders.

Each sport requires specific training and for pole dance you need to train your body in a global vision to adequately target all of your major muscle groups.

In this program we will focus on the shoulders and more particularly the rotator cuff: the essential area for the proper functioning of the shoulders.

TESTIMONIALS

You really need a good dose of dedication to do this. I was motivated not to lose the progress I had made by doing pole.  I did not think it was easy because it took me longer than my trip to the gym or pole class that I used to do. I loved to see the results especially gaining strength and a more toned body.

WHO AM I?

My name is Diana. I am a 39 years old mum of two teenagers aged 10 and 14. Being a dance lover, I taught salsa and other latin dances during more than 6 years in Leuven. Always looking for new challenges, I took my first pole dance class in April 2013 and I haven’t stopped since then.

Finally, in January 2016 I opened my own pole dance school DC POLE STUDIO. Since then, hundreds of women, and even some men, have joined my classes to step out of their comfort zone and enjoy this new discipline.

The same year, in order to help my students in a more efficient way, I also followed a PHYSICAL TRAINER COURSE at Physical Coaching Academy in Brussels. From my own practice, I found out that pole dancing is a very demanding sport that can have a very strong impact on muscles, joints and tendons. To better understand the human body, its abilities and limits, I passed another training as INTERNATIONAL NASM CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER in June 2017 and a SENIOR FITNESS SPECIALIZATION in 2018.

In 2019, I followed a NUTRITION TRAINING with Precision Nutrition. Since then, I'm offering sport sessions and private coaching. Every day, I'm training myself to stay on the top of all challenges ahead and improve my knowledge of our body!

In 2020, I created my first online program, "Self-made body program"  to work the whole body in 1 month!
